LOVE IS IN THE AIR
LIGHT INSTALLATION / VALENTINE'S DAY / ROTTERDAM (NL) 2026
Specially for Valentine's Day 2026, studio VOLLAERSZWART designed an architectural light installation in the former library of Rotterdam (NL).
Various love messages in all languages were projected onto 14 banners hanging in the library auditorium. Writers sat at 14 tables and wrote love letters for the audience visiting this Valentine's Day love installation. Once the love letters were ready, a team of postmen delivered them throughout Rotterdam on the same day. In the end, more than 500 love letters were sent.
