GOLDSTREAM
Architectural Art Installation / Citydressing  / ROTTERDAM (NL)  2014

Early this year studio VOLLAERSZWART developed a golden citydressing to communicate the reopening of ROTTERDAM CENTRAL STATION. The "red carpet", the cultural axis to the inner city, was walkable again after
7 years. Inspired by the famous GOOGLE Maps location pin, a golden routing through the city was created.
From the Central Station via Kruisplein to the Westersingel where pointers formed a huge gold chain on the water,
the golden virus spread like a school of swimming goldfish further towards the center. More than 300 cultural sites and stores were marked with the golden pointers. GOLDSTREAM is commissioned by Bureau Binnenstad Rotterdam.
